Rethink Iconic Product Forms
To first get a consumer to consider a "sustainable" or "green product", we first need to induce them to pick the item off the shelf. We wish to consider how changing the package form of a product will invite consumers to try something new. A new product form could in fact be one from their past that triggering a retro, "remember when", emotion by the consumer. Such a new, yet familiar branding approach could cross all industries from consumer goods to pre-packaged foods.
