My involvement with the Live Well Collaborative began my junior year at DAAP as a co-op experience during Spring Quarter, 2009. It was one of my first co-ops that allowed me to work directly with other disciplines. My first Live Well studio was sponsored by LG. During that studio I had an opportunity to work with other students who majored in Industrial Design, Business, Communication, and Psychology. I was also given the opportunity to redesign the Live Well website. I decided to return to Live Well for my last co-op during my senior year when I had the opportunity to participate in another multidisciplinary Studio sponsored by P&G. I've also had the opportunity to participate in a LiveWell Studio as a student during the Summer Quarter of my Junior Year. By exposing me to other disciplines and lessening the gap between business and designers, I feel my Live Well Collaborative experience has made me a better designer.
